Airport Transfers
Our complimentary airport transfer service is designed to make your arrival in Namibia as smooth and welcoming as possible. Upon landing at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you’ll be greeted by one of our friendly team members who will transfer you to our office in Windhoek. This gives you the opportunity to "arrive", observe your surroundings and traffic, yes we drive on the left side of the road. After a long flight, our customers really appreciate the chance to freshen up in our clean toilet facilities, relax in our comfortable customer lounge or unwind on the garden patio. We also offer free WiFi, great coffee or tea, and chilled water to help you recharge and reconnect. After the paperwork and administration we give you a full vehicle and equipment briefing ensuring that you can start your road-trip with confidence. You are also welcome to lean on us for local advice and tips.
Back-up support
We know your holiday is a special time for you and your family or travel group, and we’re committed to making sure it runs smoothly from start to finish. That’s why we offer a dedicated 24/7 backup service—so if anything unexpected happens with your rental vehicle or camping equipment, help is just a phone call away. Our team will first try to resolve the issue on-site or connect you with one of our trusted service partners in the next town. If the problem can’t be fixed on the road, we’ll arrange to swap out the vehicle or replace the faulty equipment as quickly as possible. We’re proud of our fast response times, and in Namibia, we typically resolve urgent issues within 24 hours. For more remote areas or cross-border locations, resolution may take longer, but rest assured—we’re always working to get you back on track with minimal disruption to your adventure.
Chauffeuring
For travelers who want to experience Namibia without the stress of driving themselves, our professional chauffeur service offers a relaxed and enriching alternative. Our experienced drivers know Namibia well and, while they are not qualified guides, they bring valuable local insight and personal knowledge that can enhance your journey and deepen your connection with the country. This service is especially popular with groups renting our 4x4 Toyota Quantum, particularly when no one in the group holds a C1 license. If you plan to use one of our chauffeurs, please let us know in advance and ensure your travel coordinator books accommodation and meals for your driver. When travelling with one of our chauffeurs, you’ll also benefit from emergency medical evacuation and passenger liability cover, and you won’t be responsible for any insurance liabilities, giving you complete peace of mind while you explore.
One-way rentals
We understand that many of our clients want to make the most of their time in Southern Africa by avoiding unnecessary backtracking or return trips. That’s why we offer a flexible cross-border delivery and collection service—also known as one-way rentals—allowing you to start your journey in Namibia and end it almost anywhere in the region. Whether you're planning to finish your adventure in Kasane, Maun, or Cape Town, or even further afield, we’ve got you covered. In fact, we’ve already collected vehicles as far away as Blantyre and Dar es Salaam. This service gives you the freedom to design your itinerary without compromise, and we’ll take care of the logistics to ensure a smooth and stress-free handover—wherever your journey starts or ends. You can select this option when booking or contact us to arrange.

All answersIs there a minimum rental period?
Yes, during the high season (July to November), the minimum rental period is 8 days. During the green season (shoulder & low season), rentals must be at least 5 days. Rentals of 8 days or more come with unlimited mileage. For shorter rentals, excess mileage charges may apply.
How do I reserve my vehicle?
To reserve a vehicle, click on the reservations tab and follow the steps to select a suitable vehicle. A deposit payment will secure your rental. If no vehicle is available for your desired period, please contact us via email.
What are the speed limits in Namibia?
The speed limits are:
120 km/h on tarred roads or as indicated
80-100 km/h on gravel roads
60 km/h in national parks and towns
For your safety, we impose a limit of 80 km/h on gravel roads. Our vehicles are equipped with tracking devices, which will be referenced in the event of a traffic accident. Deviation from our terms and conditions or prevailing traffic laws may affect your insurance cover. Please refer to our T&Cs for more details.
Will there be any additional charges?
No, the price you see is what you will pay, provided you have selected the correct rental duration and all required equipment and extras. The security deposit and vehicle excess (if applicable) will be clearly detailed during the reservation process and on the rental agreement. An “unscheduled collection or delivery fee” will apply if your collection or return differs from what is booked.
How old do I need to be to rent a car?
You must be at least 23 years old to rent a vehicle from us. Drivers under 25 will incur a young driver fee. Additionally, your driver’s license must be at least one year old.
Do I need insurance waivers?
While not required, we highly recommend insurance waivers. We offer four options:
Standard Insurance: No waivers elected, no additional daily charge. The applicable vehicle class excess will be authorized against your credit card.
Super Cover Waivers: Includes Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and Theft Loss Waiver (TLW), with an additional daily charge. This is our most popular option and covers most types of damage or losses, provided you are not criminally liable and have not contravened our T&Cs.
Waiver Booster: Covers additional damages such as sandblasting, tyre and rim damage, undercarriage damage, side and rear glass, and parking lot collisions, with an additional daily charge.
Tyre Waiver: Covers tyre damage, included in the Waiver Booster option and can be selected with Standard Insurance or Super Cover Waivers.
We recommend the Super Cover Waivers (CDW & TLW) with Tyre Waiver. Please review our T&Cs for exclusions, which will be explained at the start of your rental. Contact us if you have any questions.
How can I amend or cancel my reservation?
To amend or cancel your reservation, please contact us via email and quote your reservation number or reply to any email you received from us. Cancellations made more than 30 days in advance will be refunded minus banking charges (approximately 2% card fees). Cancellations made less than 30 days before the rental start will incur cancellation fees. No-shows will be billed at the full rental rate.
