About

We are a family business owned and operated by brothers Howard and Owen Sivertsen. Our prior experience spans running an air charter business, a filling station, a supermarket, and a motor dealership, designing trailer and truck bodies, managing teams in retail sales and property development at a multi-national oil company, and plant and fleet management in a government department.

We founded the company in 2008 around a shared love for exploration, especially through camping trips to remote parts of Namibia and neighbouring countries. We’re petrol heads—we get a kick out of kitting out 4x4s and testing them to their limits. We’re also keen motor cyclists and cherish riding Namibia’s quiet gravel roads.

Above all we care deeply for nature and work hard to protect it so that later generations can delight in its limitless beauty as we have had the privilege to do. We are one of the founding members of Tourism Supporting Conservation (TOSCO), where we actively support initiatives that safeguard Namibia’s natural heritage. We also proudly support the Pangolin Conservation & Research Foundation, providing transport solutions to aid their vital work in protecting one of Africa’s most endangered species.

As a business we are rooted in our community. We are part of a network of small family and individual businesses, and we try to support local suppliers and service providers wherever we can; for tents, canvas work, vehicle transfers, and so on. All procurement is done with Namibian companies in Namibia, as opposed to multi-nationals who also procure internationally.

We have a strong team of wonderful people with extensive experience in the car rental industry and tourism more generally. Some have been with us since the beginning, allowing us to grow and learn together. We are small enough to cater to bespoke requests and attend to each customer individually.
